the democratic primary in the special election held for jesse jackson jr's old house seat yesterday. she beat debbie halvorson 52-25. kelley thanked supporters and acknowledged how big an issue gun control was in her victory. >> you sent a message that was heard around our state, and across the nation. >> that's right!
